Discord Partners were trusted server owners. The Partner Program offered servers better support provided that they have a quality server that meets the requirements. This feature was released on December 2015, but was unfortunately removed in October 2023. Applications could be done by making your server into a community server and visiting the Partner Program tab.
Specific communities that tended to be accepted included:
- Subreddits (8000+ followers)
- Social Personalities (e.g. Twitter, Facebook)
- Content Creators / Streamers (e.g. Twitch)
- Non-Profits (Requires a valid EIN number)
- Large Communities (Large guilds or gaming groups)

The server Partnered badge.
- Partner badge next to the server's name (has image of an infinity symbol).
- Custom discord.gg link and custom invite splash design.
- Higher bit-rate VIP servers for voice channels within their server.
- Access to add themselves onto the Server Discovery page.
- Free Discord Partner hoodie / Discord Nitro subscription for the server owner.
- Access to the Private Discord Partners guild.
- Priority contact with Discord Support.
A user who owns a Partnered server.
- Server owner gets a badge next to their name on their profile.
- Server Insights show the day you become a partner rather than being wiped regularly.
